I love the near miss oooh! from the crowd at the end. My parents, were huge python fans and we definitely had this record and one or two of the others as well.

In one of the books this sketch made a related appearence and there was a league table of all the great rivers, cup games etc; all decided on respective river lengths, brilliant stuff!

I don't think I'd fancy that massage from the Swedish prime Minister!

I was glancing at the "Papperbok" the other day and was delighted to see the advert for Llap Goch (the ancient Welsh art of self- defence), the main point of which is to attack your opponent before he thinks of attacking you. Or even before he is aware of your existence! :emoticon-0136-giggl

Looking at the book brought back schoolboy giggles, concerning "attractive Sergeant Dora", Ken Russell's portrayal of England on a sticky wicket, and Walter the Wallaby. Great days!

Wasn't there a spoof set of "coins", like the ones you used to get at Shell garages, that were "diligently fashioned", from Welsh Silver*

    *An attractive, Zinc, Bakelite alloy.

It's little details like that, I used to love about MP.
