At least you didn't lose 3-1 to your close rivals, go to Upton Park and see the grins and jubilation of the Pikey karnts as they scored a third, with the Fat Spanish Waiter in charge and Torres playing like a donkey... But indeed... not a good result for you today.
I was at the game at Upton Park earlier in the season, and I remember when they scored and went up 1-0 against us, I was thinking wow these guys are celebrating like mad to be 1-0, you'd have thought they won a cup, so can't imagine their reaction when they scored the 3rd.
Yeah it was very tough... probably the most tough this season. I have done every away game in England so far this season. You guys celebrated your equaliser like any other fan would. Spurs fans went quite mental when they came from 1-0 down to going 2-1 up... Today.. when the 3 goals all went in... it was unbearable. We were quite close to the Pikey fans to our left and they don't stop with their little jibes all game. They celebrated it like a cup final goal. They are pathetic and I hope we get them away in the 3rd round draw tomorrow. They are the most unbearable fans in the league... (worse than United imo)
Get over it mate. We have just come up and we have just easily beaten the champions of Europe and local rivals who have a £200m starting 11. Pardon us if we want to jump around and enjoy it.
West Ham Fans don't support West Ham to win cups, the fact Arsenal and Chelsea fans chant "We want our Arsenal/Chelsea back" when teams like Chelsea are 3rd with 200 Million worth of players playing after winning the FA Cup and the Champions League shows how spoilt you lot are. I don't see West Ham winning cups so we have to take pleasure from beating Chelsea, and boy, I did enjoy last night, what a day. When Chelsea fans and Arsenal fans spend 30 years midtable, with relegations and years in the Championship, then they will know what a rough patch is and will realise what beating the champions of europe means to us.
Look at my reply to you on the other thread on our board... obviously you are delighted but all I'm saying is that it hurts a lot... especially losing to you guys who are close rivals. I would say the West Ham v Chelsea rivalry is much more fierce than the West Ham v Arsenal one.
Bzzz, you are having a laugh! West Ham spend "Years in the Championship!!" At worse it is usually a two season stay in my memory. And when you do spend time there, your club manages to raise the level of football of all the other clubs in the division as well as contributing to increased attendances of the clubs in that division. Anyhow well done on your victory yeserday!
