But what was important was his comment that we could be signing as many as 7 new players - and that's if we don't lose anyone. This could be a very different team next season. Interesting times ahead.
Yep read in the paper this morning that Laudrup wants a min of 5 players and is some leave then it will be seven. Ash's agent is wangling a move for him, so I can see 7 players coming in by the end of August. All I want is for us to do all our transfer dealings done prior to pre season so then can gel etc.
Totally agree. I think next season will be our most exciting yet. Lots of new players whilst retaining the core of important current players. Nice. ML is right when he says we need to improve just to stay in the same position in the league. With the new TV money from next season we will have the luxury of actually having a transfer budget worthy of the name. Getting excited now before this season is even over!
Must say I'm relishing seeing who Laudrup brings in, licking my lips with anticipation. Great times ahead I say.
been done before but outs? must have outs before ins I assume. schecter is my first out, monk second, hope we keep tiendalli
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/22578544 Know he has said this before but thought it might be worth putting it up again. A striker to take the pressure off Michu is the highest priority - but we have to be highly secretive so none of those other pesky Premier League clubs gazump us! Hopefully be a very exciting Summer!

Silly season is about to start with lazy journalism abounding again. Anyone fancy doing a sweep on how long it will take for us to be linked to Jens Toornstra again??? I am going for the 1st week of July.
http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2013/apr/26/football-transfer-rumours Swansea manager Michael Laudrup hopes to secure the scrawl of Sevilla striker and Rumour Mill staple Ãlvaro Negredo, one of those Spanish footballers who's constantly being linked with a move to the Premier League despite never showing much inclination to bother doing so. Sevilla want £13m for the 27-year-old, but Swansea aren't willing to pay that much. The Bluebirds or Dragons or whatever they're calling themselves this week! ha ha! Cardiff are still the laughing stock!
