....Jenkins and the board ...No need to discuss , its just my opinion Anything is possible starting the day after tomorrow. A lot will unfold from here , good or bad ...strap in !
Monk wins - he's in employment. Laudrup lost his job. The board lost my respect. The team lost their way.
Omg - this discussion again? Would it be off topic to suggest discussing the future of the club instead? When Monk (hopefully) proves worthy of the trust he's been shown by the board, or is sacked in mid-October, this topic might have relevance again. I certainty hope it won't go on through the summer. Luckily there is the tour de France to look forward to. As implied in a different thread I do have reservations towards the world cup...
Thats the thing , everyone wants this to be a Monk and Laudrup discussion , Huw gets off Scott free , even here , Stroke of brilliance really , half in Monks corner , half in Laudrups and Huw whistles along knowing he and the board control everything because the present manager is on a short leash with his rookie opportunity and Garry won't rock the boat . The article was clearly to DISCUSS huw and tthe board and not a mention to this point ...... amazing .Well thought out Huw (applause ) .
Mikra, you may well be correct. However, the Chairman and Board must think otherwise. Time will tell.
I would like an inquiry into the boards actions as we MOVE ON . Huw and the board took a role early in the season to do everything possible to make things difficult for our manager so he could eventually be brought down .They tried to ruin what should have been an amazing season and everyone doesn't care as long as we "pied piper " ourselves behind the clubs actions as if nothing happened An inquiry taff , nothing short of . Maybe most dont really care about the whys , but some of us do .
Go and have a look at their respective achievements in all walks of life. Then come back and apologise for creating such an asinine post.
Listen, I'm as tired as everyone else about these Monk/Laudrup threads, but if you don't like them - don't click on the link. Don't read the post. Don't post yourself. It's very simple. There are obviously people here who still want to discuss this topic as it has stirred more emotion than most things that have happened to the club in recent years. Live and let live.
Why close it,aswan? To do so would create such a precedent, viz, all threads could be closed by someone making a similar request. If you don't like/approve of the content, why not just move on. It's what I do.
I too have had enough of the Laudrup v Monk debates as they have gone full circle between us on here until the truth comes out. However that said, if you don't want to participate further in the debates, then don't open the thread guys
