I did tell a few others this aint worth worrying over. We Arnt dealing with a standard type bloke with laudrup. Its about the Long term with him,he needs to build time into his cv and hefeels swansea is the place to do that. You never know in football but i beleive we Are blessed that we have a guy who is not motivated by being at a big club,he knows if he does well here that Will come to him in time..if he wants it,which i dont Think he does <ok>

Some of the everton fans Made me chuckle on There . Laudrup hasnt done nothing said one, well i Think he has won one more trophy than moyes has for a starter ! And it aint taken him 10yrs either..<laugh>

The other one was them saying he inherited rodgers team. Really? Think there Are only 2 rodgers signings that play regular.

    Routledge
    Vorm

The rest have either gone or cant Get a game ..<laugh>

As I say, very firm wording on this - his agent said: "Michael is very happy at Swansea. We do not think about any other possibilities. He will not be changing clubs. He likes Swansea and is very settled. People always talk about Michael becoming a coach of other clubs because he has done very well. But he is the manager of Swansea and that will not change. The Swansea fans do not need to worry. He will be there next season."

I can't imagine him being quite so adament and then changing his mind - but then again, what do I know?

I guess the difference with Laudrup is that he has already been at the very very top, he's had his time as the star and worn it well. Rodgers and Martinez, and this is not a slur on them, have not and determined to get that opportunity to be there.

I'm always wary of trusting anyone, Martinez would need to be dragged away and Rodgers was building a career not ruining it, but the statement is so specific that I feel quite a lot better now.

Nothing like Ash Williams agent then ,who damps down rumours by saying "ash is very happy in Swansea but if a top 4,5 or 6 club put something on the table...but Ash is very happy at the club ." ...<laugh>

I never thought for one minute that Laudrup would go to the Toffees, their hoofball and physical game belongs in the past, been in the premiership under Moyes since 2002, and won nothing, why the hell would he go to that old lady, another Scouser club that thinks it's big?............<laugh>

Laudrup stays simples. The footballing philosophy of a club is far more important to him than a quick leap up the slippery pole of a payday.
He doesnt need money, he requires a club offering total commitment to total football.

I have it on good authority from the Cardiff board that we are the smaller club than them so there is no way their manager will go to Everton and therefore it must be Laudrup, one of the worlds best players in history, who will become the Everton manager. It is impossible idiotic for us to think that our little club can keep hold of our manager and they must be right, Malcky will no way want to leave the juggernaut that is Cardiff for a team most likely playing in Europe next season. The just won the Championship lads, don't you forget that! <laugh>
