With Magennis bagging a pair last night on the pitch (unlike Elfs in the pub), who plays up front in Robinson's preferred formation today? Surely it's too early for Dodoo to start, luckily we have plenty of other options up front to choose from including Karlan, Ahearne and Grant.

Oldham have made a desperate start to the season, but if we want promotion we really should win this one.

    People like polls <ok>

Dodoo to play as #9...... his pace is his major asset.... cost Rangers £250,000 when they bought him.

I guess the team will be something like this ....

    ........................Amos
    Solly..Bauer...Pearce...Edwards
    ...............JFC.....Kashi
    ....Holmes...Clarke.....Fosu
    .................Dodoo

Out of interest AHLL - why not KAG up front ?

It's now or never, surely ?

Let's be honest.... when have we ever produced a decent goal scoring centre forward @ Charlton .... the last one was Defoe and he was stolen by West Ham prior to making a first team appearance..... we produce a lot of talent in the Academy... just not strikers!

KAG is fine as a wide attacker but not as a central striker.

I think Clarke will be pushed up top, possibly with Holmes moved to the central role behind him.

Oldham are one of those bastard teams that are so hard to predict. Heart and head say a score draw though - so will play it safe and say 1-1. If you fancy a long shot, you could do btts in both halves (especially if you also see a score draw, but not a dull one like me).

Edwards? He is nowhere near the first team AHLL. I agree with the rest of the team, Jackson will play left back. Reeves has travelled but will be on the bench.

I think Jackson will be a mistake. Barnes playing left back against Crawley and Norwich was a disaster. Don't laugh but I would put Sarr there. He has more pace than Jackson and will bring more height for set pieces.

Sarr had a baptism of fire with us. I don't want to see him played out of position. He sounds as if he is improving all the time. Lets keep the boo boys off his back. But Jackson? Two days after the window closes and we are exposed in both our weaker areas
Lets hope the midfield can provide some fire power

I would prefer playing Solly at LB, with Djiksteel coming in at RB.

Jacko is a great guy but his legs are now worse than Douglas Bader's.

Can't remember if it was Port Vale or Oldham, (both were Tuesday night games) but a local called me gay because it was pissing it with rain and I had an umbrella.

    What a place.

The similarities with Plymouth are huge - we let Watt go just before, with Magennis dumped into the starting XI when a substitute appearance was what was required. They call it a sense of self entitlement on ITTV, but really with the richest owner in our history, why is it we are unable to complete the squad year after zarking year? Could be Roland really doesn't care two hotos about us?
Who cares, we had chances to go ahead against Plymouth so I'll go for us getting the lead and nicking a coupld later when Oldham throw everything forward. If Oldham score first (I believe they follow the old fashioned system of having strikers up front) I expect the same result as Plymouth. It's all on who scores first for me.

I would imagine the Oldham manager's team talk will be fairly straightforward- everything down Jackson's side. Big test for KAG as well today, it's time for him to prove he can cut the mustard at this level.

We should still win this game, if we don't the owner & CEO will be to blame.
