Nice, some tasty looking fixtures for the festive period there . So will they ruin or make my Christmas? Good news for Suarez, he can lay off the turkey sandwiches now he know he can have some more of Ivanovich
Watching you get gubbed by Man City on boxing day will help many with their hangovers & indigestion I'm sure
Worst time to play the bigger sides IMO. Better off playing the lower sides over the Christmas period as they don't have the squads to cope with demands.
Don't worry mate, I'll see all of ours like.... As we've got 3 homes games during the period you're on the box away at City, Spurs & Chelsea - we've got Fulham, Sunderland & S'hampton at Goodison
Gerrez - Bring them on, to be the best we have to beat the best! <gulp Tobes - Nice one, do you go? Or do you mean on the internet?
I was looking at things recently. If you add up the "windows" that tv breaodcasts matches in... saturday has 3 games, sunday 2 and monday 1. thats 6 out of 10 possible fixutres. further take potentially 2 off every europa week.... well that means we've a 6/8 or a 75% change of being on tv every weekend. what i want to highlight however is this... who can afford to get in all the channels??? Surely its high time that we call a spade a spade here and just look out for number 1? sure the collective deal benefits the lower half. I don't care. All i want is LFC matches. i rarely sit down any more to even see super sunday due to the trash on half the time. I want to pay my subscription direct to LFC and watch matches live. My club gets my money not rupert murdoch. Its actually about time this system per spain came about.
Well he's very privileged then (debateable ) to see his team. Not all of us are in a position to do that Suppose its easier to get a seat at Goodison though
Yeah that does make more sense and something ppl have been saying a while Pisses me off abroad you can see every game, even our games that havent been picked for sky But not here, its only our ****ing game ffs
It would be bad for the league as inevitably it would become like La Liga with standout earners. However, I don't currently pay for Sky Sports as I refuse to pay so much for such a little return, especially when I can watch the games on the net. I would pay for a Liverpool channel if it meant I could watch all the home games. The problem comes with the away games where the TV rights would fall to the home side.
Absolutely not! The Spanish clubs are actually threatening to strike over the massive imbalance in the TV revenue over there, it's been bubbling for years but is about to reach a head. Madrid & Barca each take around £150m per annum in TV revenue, whereas the rest of the league are getting circa £20m a piece. All this achieves is that the over time the league becomes uncompetitive with only 2 clubs who can realistically win the title & you'll ultimately end up with Scotland ffs. It's OK for the likes of Barca to say that everyone only tunes in to watch us, but the counter argument is, that without quality opposition no-one would watch at all...... The day the EPL moves to individually negotiated TV contracts is the day it signs it's own death warrant.
