Obviously we've sold out our allocation away at Plymouth where we could seal promotion on Monday afternoon. But does anyone know how many we've sold for our final game at home to Walsall next Saturday? Thanks! COYR!
The presenters on Radio Solent were saying they know a reliable person about this stuff and indeed he said it was sold out, by that its probably at least 29,000
That should mean a truly amazing quality of sound emanating from our supporters. Must be able to scare the pants off of the Walsall brigade.
Have been told by a Walsall fan that they are being given an extra allocation on Tuesday as they've sold their original batch of 500 out, expected to total around or over 1,600. St Mary's is going to be packed to the brim.
This gives a clear indication of our fan base. They don't/can't come to every game, but when we all turn out for a big celebration we can fill SMS. Wish I could be there. My next game will either be a friendly or, hopefully, a Championship match.
I posted on here about a month back it would sell out and got mocked. I have a feeling this game will be one of our most important ever. It will be a cracking atmosphere!
Agree, but next season more boxes will be sold (if we are in Championship). I seem to remember that they were quite full before our relegation to League 1. Unless the recession has an effect. I also believe there are changes afoot about the tax situation on sponsorship which may affect sport.
Hopefully we will have won promotion tomorrow so we can relax and just have fun! A full house having a real party will be fantastic - bringing the wife down to SMS for her first game since Mick Channon's testimonial at the Dell - even she thinks this is going to be a great occassion!?!?!?! Dark Lord
Well when I rang up yesterday morning I was told that they had sold out but they would be releasing more tickets (presumably what the walsall fans wont be taking up) at around 1.30pm. When I phoned up again at about 1.45pm they said they had been releasing the other tickets throughout the day and had now completely sold out so i have no ticket and will bre missing out on the party
For now, Walsall are telling their fans they can pay on the gate at St Mary's... so...... just go in the away end if that stays the case.
Why are people surprised we've sold out? And why people have waited until under a week before the game to buy tickets is beyond me.
