A reliable source informs me that veteran Centre Half Jack Charlton was seen at the Brit, early this morning, apparently going fishing with Pulis. Pulis was heard to say that JC still had a smashing tackle, due to some confusion, we don't know if he meant fishinh tackle or not. However, Pulis was (over) heard to say "The lad has a world cup winners medal and bags of experience, this is a smashing deal for this football club. Denis Smith who recently rejoined Stoke to look after the youngsters in tyhe Academy, little Matty Upson and even little Jonny Woodgate is reported to be miffed. That's it, will just have to watch Sky Sports New to see what transpires.
