Got to say that I am sorry to see it go.

I know that the ground needs to be brought into the 21st century but there are so many memories for me!

Hey ho! Hopefully, onwards and upwards.

Thats the cloud with a silver lining
Irony of ironies, if it were not for the nimbies we would be moving ground completely.
I said on a thread some time ago, sat in a stand in this new fangled super stadium we are getting, it will be a fair chance that you are not too far from the spot where Keith Fear lobbed the Leeds keeper to kick start six great years in our history. Or
where Jimmy Mann sent a rocket past Peter Shilton, or where Nicky Maynard scored the breakaway 2nd against Middlesborough, where McAllister fired in the third to send us to Wembley, or near where we stood on the pitch and blinked in the floodlights in wonderment of would would come next, as AD and Sir Geoffrey made their speeches.
And any other good experience you've had watching Bristol City

Where I saw my first City goal on 23 April 1950, a penalty scored by Don Clark six months later to win a 4th round FA Cup tie, where Big John scored a thirty yard screamer past Harry Gregg, later of Man Utd while being marked, not very well, by Charlie Williams, later a well known comedian.
I could go on but too many to recount.
No one more; Ray Cashley launching the clearance that one bounce later, ended up in the new at the Open End v Hull City.
