The last one seems very interesting Hawk. He's had a bit of a chequered career but maybe a return somewhere nearer to his home, could bring out the best in Tom. On a lighter note, isn't there any City fan with an aptitude for song writing who could put some City related words to the song, because wouldn't everyone know the tune?
None of Stock, Akinfenwa or indeed Mr Cobley fit our U24 policy - most BS merchants who make things up on that site are not City fans, so they don't know that They go for the obvious "used to play for SoD" The other stories to ignore are the "swap player x in exchange for player y" - they seldom happen (Bechhio/Morrison did in the last window)
Living in Devon, Akinfenwa was at Torquay,a small league 2 club with an average attendance of about 2500. Lovely club and set up but he hardly pulled up trees there and I feel that we need someone stronger than that.- The only rumour that i hear that seems to have any substance to it is Fielding.
With Cobleigh U.T. on the leftwing on his grey mare to provide the crosses Akinfenwa might score a few goals but as we are not likely to sign either it's a bit pointless posting the rumours. Mind you it doesn't cost anything to cut and paste them and it does give us all a chuckle from time to time.
