I went to the game yesterday and I want to avoid overreacting as it is certainly early days.

But for me something dramatic has changed since last season in terms of our general play and team ethic - or lack of.

Last season when MH came in we immediatley saw a well organised and hard working side - although without the ability to win games away from home.

But yesterdays game was a big eye opener - I dont know if MH is changing the way we played last season (he has mentioned that he didnt have the time to make full scale changes during last season), but obviously it isnt working - YET.

There seems to be such a lack of team ethic and our midfield is just getting overrun time and again - it doesnt help with Diakite not tackling like he used to.

As I touched on above, I dont think it is the amount of new players that is the problem - I think it is MH trying to change the way we play. But that then begs the question, what the hell did we do in pre-season?

It will all become apparent when we lose to Warsaw on Tuesday.

It's obvious we're just trying to lull the big boys into a false sense of security before we whip their donkeys next month; not sure about Walsall though, think that's part of the cunning plan.
    MH is a master tactician.

We're 2 points down on this time last year, that's really worrying!! Sack MH now and bring a new manager in while we've still got 5 days of the transfer window left. We're AAAAAALLLLLLL DOOMED!!!

Definitely different to the latter end of last season where the tighter we played, the better the result. Now we trying fast forward, loose and expansive. But all that's doing is leaving holes everywhere. Mind you, the ability to retain possession might help a bit!

Not a hint of a master plan atm. 451 at home and we get stuffed. 442 away and a draw against a team who did no better than us last week, with absolutely no desire, cohesion or invention. And that's against those most likely for the drop, according to some on here. Hughesy's probably wracking his brain for answers as we speak. Wonder what he'll do? That's the story here isn't it? It's all about him. Fascinating scenario for a non-R! No point surmising though cos he rarely does what I think he should anyway!

Will we get a proper goalie? If we're don't we're gonna end up building a rep as Rangers Flying Circus in more ways than one!

Something's gotta give, surely. Got a feeling Walsall are in for a whuppin' Tuesday. If that don't happen, us fickles will be up late that night that's for sure. (Painting me banner as we speak!)

Tony, Amit and Mr Mittal are in this for the long haul and they have proved that beyond reasonable doubt thus far.

Park Ji Sung did not come here to be part of a losing team sucked into a relegation battle.

We are either 18th and in the drop zone or joint 13th on points with five other clubs. It depends on your perspective.

We have signed some talented players, despite being little old QPR, who were being chased by other clubs too. The hope is that process is not quite over yet!

We rode our luck and got an unlikely and maybe even undeserved point at Carrow Road. The significance of this point must not be underestimated. It was a monkey off the back moment since Norwich often beat us there and our first away point since 1.2.12. Not only is this Olly’s ugly bird in the taxi but an important psychological boost for the team and us!! I hope it also signifies the continuation of what I perceived was a change in our luck towards the end of last season.

We were dire for large parts of last season until something clicked at the Liverpool home game in March ie 7/8 months into the season. Surely we can believe that this new team will improve before then?

Of course there are negatives. Green’s first fumbled goal and Mackie’s miss that both influenced the Swans outcome; Barton; transfers possibly stalling etc.

Loads of fellow posters have said it but it is worth saying again. We are in the (potentially) best position we’ve been in for years if not decades.

There are no easy games in the Premier League and since when did QPR do things the easy way?!
Buckle up and enjoy the ride.

2nd game last season we put out at best a Championship side, but with Sir Colin spunk won underservedly Away at Everton. This season with a far better team on paper we played with no spunk at all, and drew undeservedly away. It's still early days but MH has got to sort this out soon, by about October I reckon, else we'll be looking for another Manager.

All this sacking Hughes and getting another manager crap is getting on my tits. TF wont sack Hughes he will be given time to sort this side out, hiring and firing was what got us in the **** in previous years starting all that again will only end with us in a worse position than when we started.

I havent said we should sack MH at all, and I am certainly not being all doom and gloom.

Just made a point that I can see MH trying to change the way we played from last season - which for me is the major reason we are not playing that well.

We dont just have new players, we have a new way of playing which is bound to cause teething problems.

I am certain we are on the right track, I dont doubt that at all.

I think your right Judo. Last season it was all about survival. Hughes is now trying to impose his own style of football, something he couldn't do last season. At the moment we're in a period of transition and when we come through that period whether that be another three or even ten games, I think we'll be a very good side.

As disappointed as I am as everyone else on here as to our start to the season, I think we'll have to learn how to be patient before seeing the hard work that goes on behind the scenes pay off.

Yes but if we don't win the next couple games and come away with only a draw and a loss, if I was the owner and saw the way it's happening now, I would sack the manager immediately and bring in a whole new vision.
