Have to admit this is one Acworth thread that I strongly support

Welling are the local Non-League side for the majority of us so we need to support them as best as possible. Should be a great game as I've been down Welling over the past few seasons and they're playing a style of Football not too different from our own, nothing like the dross you get from most Conference and Conference South clubs

And after last season's financial problems £12 really can continue to help them stay afloat when so many local teams which make English Football so special are disappearing.

So this Weekend there is really no excuse, whether it be Dartford / Bromley / Welling / Dover / Eastbourne get down and support them on "Non-League Day"!!!

May have to do just that, been wanting to get to a game there and I guess this Saturday would be an ideal opportunity.

The funny thing about non league football is that the crowd still changes ends at half time <laugh>

They also do a nice 'pig in a stick' and cup of tea <ok>

the best game id ever seen at welling was fa cup 3rd round vs blackburn they won 1-0 i think wellings biggest ever attendence i think it was around 6,000 mark, but someone at the valley told me bexley united had attracted over 20000 for one game vs man utd reserves
