A Chelsea supporter at work was keen to inform me that the average age of the QPR squad is now older than his team. Butterfingers, AJ and Nelly are all over 30 and will be joining Derry & Clint (both around 34?) Cisse is 30, Zamora 31. With rumours that Danny Murphy might also be considering a 220 bus journey from Fulham to Shepherd's Bush this will push the average higher again. At this rate we are going to look like Compo, Foggy & Clegg or Dad's Army! Sparky has obviously gone for the more experienced end of the (free) market and I expect some younger players to be targets when the shops open on the 1st July. I certainly hope so or we are in danger of being sponsored by Sanatogen, Tena or Stanna Stairlifts!
total bollacks, if we get the likes of fabio in & he plays along with tarbs/fraulin/traore etc the average age comes up about 26 which is pretty good, so he can go fcuk himself who said that.
