Did anyone go to the game last night?Where did it all go wrong?Should Brendan have put out a stronger team or is he fully focussed on the league? It's only the Carling Cup lads. Was hoping for a clean sweep for the Welsh clubs last night.
How did Luke Moore play? The only experience I have of seeing him has been on MOTD in the past but he always has struck me as lazy. Were we playing him on the wing? Did he put in a shift or should we just get shot of him (not that we have much time to bring in anyone else)?
Didn't anyone on here go last night? Has anyone heard anything about a smoke bomb being let off? Why would a swansea fan let off a smoke bomb in the midst of families?
I think BR summed it up , our attitude was no where near right . That means work rate was poor. Not like us at all but then again you could also comment that the side contained a very lightweight and 'fringe' midfield. Hopefully the goals and extra beef in midfield and full back will arrive soon. Well done the Shrews who were up for it
Hit the road! Did you go last night? http://pictures.metro.co.uk/latest-...rewsbury-Town-v-Swansea-City-Greenhous-Meadow
Don't panic lads.... In a parallell universe (lets call in Earth B) we may have won that game last night as the players were actually up for the game and had moral boosted... would you have preferred that? BUT... in Earth B we would also be playing our next game away to Yeovil in league 1. Both univereses were exactly the same until 16th July 2010 where in Earth B Gary Speed was confirmed as Swansea City Manager. I for one would not prefer the scenario above (Earth B) where we won last night........Just a thought.
As wum's go not the best but at least it's light hearted and not vile like the rubbish some Cardiff buffoons put on here
Parallel universe theories are fascinating.. Has anyone come across Schroedinger's cat theory? [It goes something like this -might not be 100% accurate] You put a cat in a lead box together with some radioactive material such as uranium and leave it a while. The cat might be alive or it might be dead. It exists in some transient existance until someone opens the box and observes it. Only then does it take on the form of a live cat or a dead cat. What do you make of that?
BBC stats: Swansea first. Possession 55-45; Shots on target 5-8; Off target 9-3; Total shots 14-11; Corners 7-3; Fouls 8-11; GOALS 1-3.
I seem to remember it being used as the basis for the "many world" theory. I.E. Every event outcome is a branch point for creating a "new world / new Universe". With Schroedinger's cat , the Cat is Alive in one world and dead in another. Therefore the cat is both alive and dead , but not in the same worlds as the "alive" and "dead" cats are in different branches of the universe. Both Universes are equally valid and real but they cannot interact . Similar to the Time travel grandfather paradox solution. Anyway , 3-1 and we didn't even score ! I would still rather be in this universe where we lost in the cup but are in the premier league, than the one where we won in the cup but are in league 2.
I think shooting practice is in order. Too many shots off target and it seems we're trying to take Arsenal's lead and walk the ball into the net.
Hit the road! Good to see you're more awake now.Your earlier comment being "yaaaaawwwwnnnn." Look out for the backlash Sunderland eh?
Is it just a coincidence that fellow Premiership newcomers QPR and Norwich also had heavy defeats against lower division clubs? (at home, which makes it slightly worse than what happens to us). It points to similar conditions in all three clubs, whether it is the team finding it hard to cope with suddenly not being underdogs, actual team selection or having one eye on survival. Its no excuse for loosing so badly but it puts it in perspective.
Soaring Swan! I see your comparison with the other two Premiership newbies, but both Warnock and Lambert selected starting elevens who were effectively B team players.
