I guess tomorrow when the fixtures come out we will be moved to the Championship board? Could be a quiet season on there as most team sites seem to be very quite. Its like a division of Chelsea boards. Shame Norwich/Millwall left the division as they are quite active. We need another scandal to get them posting.
Knowing us they won't have long to wait. We'll probably find Charlie was never properly registered and is a free agent...
Expected but this forum will soon catch up and our club has once again a realistic target of new success Plenty of us still cross with what has happened but it was a trip and I am certain on reflection in time we all loved it . The status of our club is there to be shot at by any fan of football We are currently the joke club with Harold and TF still hurting our image It's give and take and we go again IMO and I am sure is the fans will be the saviour of the club It's exactly why it's so important to re market the club TF has played with us with his ego problems and I actually like the fact that throwing money around by people who play with football as a hobby has backfired CR as manager will hurt a lot on here because their heads are still wrong and may regret rubbishing players with names we may never have again There will a big divide on here because of that so it's bound to always be lively. We have infected brothers who need curing I predict a rally on here to sack CR after just a few games if a team isn't performing because they are fickle and want nothing but success Loving forward to that IMO nothing has changed and we should relish the challenge of playing in the worlds toughest league Harold Barton Zamora Hughes Taarabt Cesar Bosingwa SWP are all now dead to QPR fans all have given us things too moan about and none of us have a clue what our team will be like so this forum is bound to be lively We are a west London club with big balls and are on a journey We should look back with pride of our footballing heritage and if possible try and revamp it TF I hope is the last bit of the **** story to go and respect to Imaz who was always the first to see this I hope CR gets serious about the cups this year we need a cup run next season
The thing is with CR is he has been manager since Arry and his knee jumped ship. He's had enough games now. HE IS NOT A NEW MANAGER. If after a few games we are down the bottom and it's not looking good then i will be one of many who will ask the question why? I will not watch my club go down without questioning it. Not fickle, just not a sheep. Last season many were saying (including myself) that it was not CR team. He now has his chance and and if he fails then he should get the bullet. I still think its a massive risk by TF but now he has disappeared into the shadows, it won't be his fault. I will support CR all the way but he has the budget and has had enough time to sort out a good team. PS TWGWTDT the rest was spot on
I'm not sure we can judge yet what budget Ramsey has been given. We have spent £4m so far on four players, which suggests that he doesn't have much to spend. If cash is tight we should not expect too much from Ramsey next season. For me, mid-table would be satisfactory as it is likely to be a gradual rebuilding process.
Signing Mackie is a sure sign that we expect to be a championship club at the end of next season. I'd rather we had that ambition with some players with potential ( which they may not live up to) than limitations which we know they will never overcome.
I agree with you on Mackie, but the other signings are all players with potential, including the two EDS youngsters. It will take time, though, to develop their potential.
Agree if he has no money then i will judge on what he has however so far he has Spent £4M on 2 players. Most Championship clubs would fit out most of a team with that sort of dosh.
People said the same thing about Mackie last time, Derry, Hill, Kenny. Not saying we'll go up and I'll be surprised if we do but you need guys like Mackie for a 46 game slog. When we've got Blackburn away on a Tuesday night, Mackie will be loving it while Hoilett will be wearing two pairs of gloves on the bench.
Hopefully we'll finish next season higher than our current alphabetical 20th position, but at least that one is safe from relegation?
