I was listening to TalkSport last night with Saggers. The topic of the evening was after match press conferences with the managers. It was sparked by Kenny 'I love Liverpool' Dalglish rebuffing a question by a well respected radio reporter. He just refused to answer the question and just moved on. Saggers asked for opinions and also asked why managers just don't give answers in enough detail as fans really need to know what is going on. (rubbish synopsis of the show, sorry). I appreciate that there are some internal issues and politiking that they need to remember but if managers just said ' we played badly, we got what we deserved' etc it would leave the fans feeling like they're not being taken for idiots. It made me think that I know a manager that does give honest answers and is pretty good with reporters - any guesses? MJ was interviewed at the weekend after Man City and he said that MC were the better team, it was a dive and that we would not have got 'Feed the Pog and he will score' if he was playing well. 'We have to get them when they are playing badly or they won't come at the right price' or something like that. Good work MJ. IMO
