What is point of last minute substitutions? I had a mate who was a pal of a previous manager and he intimated that at a time when the dressing room was not happy that it helped that problem by ensuring as many players as possible got their appearance fee, rumoured to be about £500 a match.

When I questioned BO about this is in a public forum he effectively refused to answer. With many football club's finances in a dire state how can this be justified?

It's often to kill momentum of opposing teams when winning in all fairness though I don't doubt this appearance fee nonsense does go on.

Complaining about 500 quid whilst on their wages! Blimey.
