last friday at work i discussed with friends liverpools next two games, west ham away and man utd at home.i told them that i was more confident that we would get a better result against man utd than we would against west ham, and so far i have been proved right, the reason being that we never seem to do well against the teams below watford gap when we play away and also that when we play man utd we seem capeable to raise our game.
i still think come sunday at 15:30 we will be celebrating a good win for liverpool against man utd and hopefully we might see carrol play some part and also i think suarez might sparkle especially as man utd wont have vidic playing which is a great advantage to us.
i predict a 3-1 victory especially as we were unlucky at the away fixture and the way we got beat in the fa cup game.
oh yes another prediction.king kenny here next season oh yes.they would be daft not to,wouldnt they?:emoticon-0105-wink:

3-1 sounds about right if we manage to control the game; the lads do always raise their game against teams like Chelsea, Arsenal and Man Utd. I think the most important thing in this game will be getting the formation right and fitting the team in their best positions into the formation.

3-5-2 is a safe bet, with Johnson and Aurelio as WBs. Although I have a feeling Johnson will be played at LB and Carragher will be played RB - I don't know why.

Equally we could go with a 4-1-2-1-2; The only width coming from Gerrard and Suarez.

    --------------------Reina--------------------
    ---Johnson---Carragher--Agger---Aurelio-----
    --------------------Lucas-------------------
    -----------Gerrard---------Meireles----------
    --------------------Kuyt--------------------
    -------------Carroll-------Suarez------------

I've stick Kuyt in because he usually does well against Man U, and I reckon he could feed a few balls into the middle. Gerrard and Meireles are attacking Mids, so they'll push the midfield up with Lucas acting as a stopgap between the defence and Mid. It's an attacking side, which is what we need to take advantage of the loss in Man Utd's defence.

The only problem with this would be balls into the box for Carroll, which would come from Johnson and Aurelio, but that would leave the flanks exposed to Man Utd's width.

I think Kenny will be Manager next season, NESV trust him and why shouldn't they? Dalglish has been walking them through the rules of football and he's raised the team so much since he's come in. He's only really for 10 years of football management left in him though, I don't like to see any Manager over the age of 70 because I think then it starts to become a major health risk - People that age aren't meant to cope with that amount of stress. So over these next 10 years I want to see him recreate the bootroom and train Carragher and Gerrard to become our next Managers.

I will say one thing that needs to happen though... New scouts. Give Comolli some money to poach some Key scouts off other teams - it will be worth it in the long run.

3-5-2 sounds good especially if johnson has got his shooting boots on.but we need to keep hernandez quiet as he could be there match winner.
but can i say 4-1 with carrol scoring with a header, suarez putting there defense in a spin, stevie g with a pile driver and aurelio with a 30 yard free kick.oh that would be a sunday to enjoy:)

Your prediction sounds good, but I'll raise you 4-1 and give you 5-1, with a Reina goal through an awesome freekick near the end as he takes it near the half way line <laugh>
