SAFC have never won the last PL game of the season. There must be a first time.

A win would take us to 47 points, potentially 9th at best.
A draw would put us 13th only if Villa lose at home to Liverpool (edit: if Villa lose by 3 goals or more)
Lose and we will be firmly rooted in the bottom 6 at 14th.

    H = home wins. A = away wins.

Stoke v Wigan : all depends on the appetite of Stoke and the ability of Wigan to fight to the death.
    Stoke H 10, Wigan A 3.
Likely draw, so Stoke on 47 with GD -1

Bolton v ManC : Citeh need the win to ensure 3rd spot and automatic qualification for the CL to prevent Ars overtaking them. Bolton's form has dropped with losing their last 4 games.
    Bolton H 10, ManC A 7
Likely ManC win, so Bolton on 46

NUFC v WBA : The Mags have the 3rd highest home scoring record after ManU and Chelsea. Both have achieved safety. You have to fancy NUFC to wrap up the season with a home win
    NUFC H 6, WBA A 4
Likely home win, so NUFC on 48

Villa v LFC : Liverpool have a slim chance of 5th if Spurs slip up against B'ham. That would be a mighty achievement for Dalglish so all to play for.
    Villa H 7, LFC A 5
Likely draw, so Villa on 46

If we win in Lunnun, it might look like this:

    .9th : 48 (-1) NUFC
    10th : 47 (-1) Stoke
    11th : 47 (-14) Sunderland
    12th : 46 (-2) Bolton
    13th : 46 (-12) Villa
    14th : 46 (-15) WBA

seen it, and it leaves bruce a question on what team does he put out, seems like as good of a time as any to give some of our kids a run out.

but then there is the case of final position and extra money, so who knows what he will do.

even a rumour that gyan may play a part, and ferdinand may also be available, decision time for bruce. hope he doesn't play gyan though.

either way, i'm sticking with the draw, upton park is not a good place for us.

Hope ferdinand does not play in this particular fixture. He has been absolutely ****e, almost nozesque like in critical errors, every time he has played against his former club.
