I have been keeping the faith these past few weeks, but I feel Tuesday nights game is the last throw of the dice. After todays results (and well done Hull, as I feel the top 2 places are now sorted) we have no choice but to go all guns blazing. I have also been sticking up for NP, but I think he will be sacked as soon as it is mathematically impossible for us to get in to the play offs.
Beat Bolton! How the **** do you think we will do that with the chances we miss? At least we can play QPR next season.
If we can't beat Birmingham, how can we beat Bolton? I know it's a funny league, but still. Yesterday was the opportunity for the players to prove their worth- home game against an average team, and they didn't do enough. You can argue that a last minute equaliser is always unfortunate, but we didn't do enough in the rest of the game to warrant that win- Birmingham looked the better team. Couldn't believe how much the ball was in the air when our players were in possession.
I think its vital we arrest the slump asap. Not just for us to make a last min dash to the play offs but its happened before where teams have ended the season in a slump and carried that onto the next season. We just need to remember what its like to win again
As disillusioned as I am, I do agree with Ed on this one. If we beat Bolton, we are right back in it. I do believe that we can be good enough to beat them, but we need the right players in the right position. Need to switch Wood and Schlupp, and play Knockaert on the right. After his brilliant start, he had a very poor run, and he owes us a number of good games - he is still the most creative player on our books. Nuge and Dyer as impact subs along with Waggy for set pieces. It is easy to forget just how good we have been at times this season - the players need to break through the confidence barrier and perform. NP is not the man to take us forward, that needs sorting end of season whether we make the playoffs or not.
If we can get Knockaert on form he could be the difference between us getting or missing out on the play offs
Yes I think we can beat Bolton plus Watford - who IMO are losing it. Maybe draws at Palace and Forest are possible too as I believe these two are out of sorts too.
It'll be either 12 from 12 or 3 from 12. It's the Leicester way. I personally think we've blown it. We're going into every game with the 'this slump can't last forever' attitude. We're just expecting it to turn around without doing anything. Some players need to have a right look in the mirror and decide whether they're up to it or not. Jeff Schlupp's attitude needs to be the benchmark for the remainder.
Hi AKCJ. Are you looking forward to the start of the next season in the Premier League explaining to all the new posters why you have a HCAFC logo as your avatar?
After going through the contract if you read the small print there is a get out clause. If both teams go up the bet is then void
Getting your ambitions mixed up with your capabilities again eh.... If I'm correct no ones been promoted yet and there's still 4 games for you to implode. Any things possible....pfft delusions of grandeur again. Remember what happened last time with your brief appearance in the Prem ?? Oh and old Potato heads record in the Prem as a boss is none too spectacular either. Enjoy your brief stint.....maybe !
The last chance saloon has closed down and been turned into the Samaritans east midlands suicide HQ... mr. pearson is king Midas in reverse.. a months coaching from him and good players forget what to do with that round thing ...
