    Villa v Stoke
    Blackburn v Liverpool
    QPR v Swansea

Where are the points going in Round 5?

QPR: Up to ourselves really… need patience and effective counters in this game.
Villa: Every chance of all 3.
    Blackburn: Who knows against Liverpool?
    Bolton: Doubtful.
    Wigan: Very doubtful.
    Wolves: Very doubtful.

    All hinges on Liverpool imo.

As good a chance as we’ll get to put a gap between us and the others. Are we going to screw it up?

Hate to say it but stand-by for surprises in this round…

Ooh there is pressure on us this week, if we get the 3 points on Wednesday I can really see us staying up. Bolton and Blackburn losing tonight would give us some real incentive.

Agreed. It may be easier against a safe and relaxed WBA away! I'm hoping for a narrow win on Wed however to continue our improved home form!!

At least our busy schedule of games are spaced out Sun/Wed/Sat - Bolton & Villa are going at it again today with just a 2 day turnaround and Blackburn plays tomorrow, so we will at least know those results going into our Swansea game which is a must win.

    Newcastle 2 Bolton 0
    Villa 1 Stoke 1

Eases the pressure that little bit more...

    My rose-tinted view of things:-

Blackburn v Liverpool 2 - 3 (Liverpool get their act back together?)
    QPR v Swansea 3 - 1 (hopefully shades of last season's encounter)
    Wolves v Arsenal 1 - 4 (Wolves almost dead & buried)
Wigan v Man United 1 - 4 (continue the march to the title)

Must wear those lucky eye-glasses again - one result down, three to go - fingers crossed, I only hope!

Rounds 5 and 6 we need to build a little cushion for rounds 7 and 8.

Round 5 I think Villa could get points but I'm not counting them in the fight, with just us getting 3 points the rest nothing, really Round 4 was a bonus for us as I expected us to be playing catch up now, so must take advantage.

Had to leave before Liverpool result was in - I was sneaking peaks while in the office but I would rather not do so. When I left, we were back in the relegation zone so I was failry happy to see that Mr Carroll bailed us out

Let's not waste his effort tomorrow
