QPR 3 Bolton 3 Wigan 3 Blackburn 0 Villa 0 Wolves 0 15) Villa 33 (-9) +1 game in hand 16) Bolton 29 (-24) +1 game in hand 17) QPR 28 (-19) ------------------- 18) Blackburn 28 (-21) 19) Wigan 28 (-26) 20) Wolves 22 (-35) Run-In Round 4 Man United v QPR Liverpool v Villa West Brom v Blackburn Bolton v Fulham Chelsea v Wigan Stoke v Wolves Where are the points going in Round 4? QPR: Very doubtful. Villa: Possible point⦠? Blackburn: At least a point, surely. Bolton: Quite possible on current form. Wigan: Doubtful. Wolves: Possible point. All hinges on Blackburnâs result at West Brom.
QPR: 3 (Why not? The belief and cohesion carried over from Saturday against a side who struggled to break down Blackburn tonight. We need a strong ref.) Villa: 0 (Liverpool really smarting and with a point to prove.) Blackburn: 0 (Don't think Brom'll get dragged into it but they're probably looking over their shoulder.) Bolton: 3 (Fulham safe. Don't think they'll be up for it as much as Bolton.) Wigan: 0 Wolves: 0 (Players turning up for training pissed, fighting on the pitch. They're doomed.)
If we play the same system as we did against the Gooners we can get something on Sunday, Fergie always tinkers with selections so we could catch them cold. With my realistic head on: QPR 1 Villa 0 Bolton 3 Blackburn 1 Wigan 0 Wolves 0 But I really think if we play with the same commitment as last week we can WIN...
What ground we lose in Round 4 we have the chance to gain back in Round 5, can't see us getting anything there especially as United are starting to stretch their legs in the back straight. Goal Difference cold be vital at the end of the season and the players need to made clear of that and play the full 90 mins +. Having said all that I'll still put us down for a draw QPR 1 Villa 0 Bolton 3 Blackburn 1 Wigan 0 Wolves 0 Need everyone to have a bad week really, while we have had a good couple of games those around us have also..
Man Utd 1-4 QPR (yes, 1-4) Liverpool 1-2 Villa WBA 1-1 Blackburn Bolton 2-1 Fulham C*elsea 3-0 Wigan Stoke 2-1 Wolves 15) Villa (36) +1 game in hand 16) Bolton (32) +1 game in hand 17) QPR (31) ---------------------- 18) Blackburn (29) 19) Wigan (28) 20) Wolves (22) Wolves would surely be relegated if these are the results!
How Wolves didn't win that game against Bolton I'll never know. They should have been 3 or 4 goals up by halftime, yet they lose. Luck plays a huge part in deciding who goes and who stays. They were lucky last year, this time around I can't see them escaping, but it's still too early to say.
On the medication a little early today Billionth. We played really well against Arsenal but I don't think we mustered 4 on target. Expect to see a much more defensive desiplay at Old Trafford.
Man United v QPR 0 - 1 Liverpool v Villa 2 - 0 West Brom v Blackburn 2 - 0 Bolton v Fulham 0 - 1 Chelsea v Wigan 3 - 0 Stoke v Wolves 1 - 0
If you ever watch a recording of that 4-1 win we could and should have won by six or seven, United didn't have a shot on target in the first half! It was as comprehensive a thrashing as they've ever had under Fergie's reign at Old Trafford. I'll be happy with a flukey draw and ecstatic with a jammy win this time round...
Man United v QPR 1 - 2 Liverpool v Villa 1 - 0 West Brom v Blackburn 2 - 1 Bolton v Fulham 0 - 1 Chelsea v Wigan 3 - 1 Stoke v Wolves 2 - 0
Oz and Goldie: just hope you two are the kind of people who say things and they just happen to work out... any chance of PM-ing me with this week's lottery numbers!
You know me, Brix, always the optimist! Now where are those plastic wings I'm gonna try out over Beachy Head on Saturday...
Realistically the points will be: QPR 0 Villa 0 Bolton 3 Blackburn 1 Wigan 0 Wolves 0 But we'll make it up in the next round.
Man United v QPR 0 Liverpool v Villa 0 West Brom v Blackburn 0 Bolton v Fulham 3 Chelsea v Wigan 0 Stoke v Wolves 0
Fulham are absolutely ****e on the road, how they won at Loftus Road god only knows. If they could somehow manage a draw that would be a great result for us,if WBA could beat Blackburn then that would be perfect.Just hope the scum don't slip up at home to Wigan!
