You may be right, but I must say in all honesty that when I read what Major writes I don't get the impression that his style is similar to that of IA.
Some of his views may be very similar, along with the stridency he states them with. But I just don't get that 'vibe' (for want of a better way of putting it) that Major and IA are the same person.

If you are referring to my recent exchange with Major in the 'RD' thread, to be fair to him he did not target me.

I took issue with his targeting of Rick Everitt - in a post he made replying to another ITTV member who had said Charlton's play-off defeat last season was "abject failure". There seemed to be no connection between that subject and Rick Everitt, but Major launched an attack on RE anyway.
I felt the nature of that attack warranted a response.

I don't go looking to fall out with Major or anybody else on that forum, and by-and-large they don't go out of their way to attack me either since I have returned there.
I'm not trying to promote the place, but I will say the level of group bullying and active targeting of members with unpopular opinions is now far lower than it was before IA was banned. That can only be a good thing.

 

ITTApologist was better five years ago when Inky ruled the roost.

 

What happened to the "posters you like / dislike on other forums" thread? I could not find it.

Just wanted to note there that the account of Gelan (Survivor) has been deleted on ITTV.
I don't know if he did this himself or if he has had a serious disagreement with Reams.
There are no clues in any of Gelan's last few posts (unless some have been deleted) and he was there yesterday evening I think.

Strictly speaking I don't like or dislike Gelan as I don't really know him. Some of his posts are eccentric to say the least, but I have never thought there is much (if any) malice behind anything he says. He makes no secret of the fact he struggles with mental illness, which is a brave thing to be honest about.

Whatever the circumstances behind his sudden disappearance from that forum, I hope he is OK.

I know his views may not be popular with some, but he is a long-time poster on ITTV and every viewpoint should be respected on a forum, even if it is strongly disagreed with.
The temperature has got pretty high over there this evening.
I hope Jeddez returns later. I know (well I assume anyway) that it was his choice to leave, just as I chose to leave there last year.
We are all Charlton fans in the end. We should feel OK to post where we want to.
