For me: Birmingham (A) draw = 1 Villa (H) lose = 0 Wolves (A) lose = 0 DQPR (H) draw = 1 Burton (A) win = 3 Wednesday (H) win = 3 Brizzle (A) lose = 0 Cardiff (H) draw = 1 Brentford (A) draw = 1 Total = 10. A tad pessimistic but even after today's performance we've looked crap most of the season.
Ipswich, Brum, Burton, QPR, Brentford 3 wins and two draws should just about do it, possibly a point home to Villa also Edit. Forget Weds. Add on another win.
I see Sunderland are effectively 9 points behind us with 9 games left. If most of us are about 50/50 on relegation, they must almost be resigned. I think the safety point will be below 50 points.
Depends on factors like injuries or suspensions. We have people coming back to fitness so it looks promising for now.
Brum, Burton, and Wendies are in terrible form = 3 points each = 9 points DPQR, Ipswich are reasonable bets for draws = 2 points. Wolves, Brizzle are slumping, = possible points Villa, Cardiff = losses Brentford ??? TOTAL 11/13 points.
The current form of the bottom half of the table is horrific. The bottom 13 teams have only won 10 out of the last 65 games. From the teams below us there have only been 3 wins out of a possible 30 games. Ourselves and DQPR are on the best runs of form in the bottom half and that's only 7 points out of a possible 15. The bottom 3 alone have collectively only picked up 7 points out of a possible 45. We are talking some right gash teams here. I can't see anyone doing a Leicester on us. I can see 8 points coming from wins against Massive and Brum and draws against Burton and the Dramas being enough.
Some teams will have missed out on top six or made it by the time we play them and should be easy pickings? Also others may be safe from relegation before we play them? All these scenarios have to be taken into account when looking at the run in? IMO
Looking at the top 3 who we play, one is going to be pissed off with the play offs and may rest a full team when we play them?
It's still a flip of a coin but having Hernandez back has given City a huge lift. Basically its a case of will our attack score more goals than our brittle defence will let in. 48 points should be more than enough.
I think we’re essentially safe now, it’s a big gap and we’re regularly picking up points. I think F.C. Massive are the ones outside the bottom 3 who can rightly be worried.
Another 10 points should be enough, though you can't take it for granted, need to push on as much as possible.
Bowen, and then Wilson and Hernandez coming back has given us a good attacking boost, and that's why we can score more goals again.
