Bumped into him in Stevenage Road before the game tonight Captain. Regrettably, he confirmed that he’d be out for another two or three weeks. So that’s it for this season from him I fear. Have to say he made a very favourable impression; coming over as a thoroughly pleasant and friendly young man. Oh, and would also just mention that he was escorting a ‘bevy of lovelies’ to the Cottage balcony. Hopefully he didn’t cringe overly in their company while watching his comrades-in-arms flounder.
If we can get a solid defensive mid in and LVC stays then I think we could have a decent midfield with Hyndman the third man. Good mix of energy and passing, just need someone to mop up.
Symons has said both LVC and Hyndman are not back in training and he can't see them getting fit for the Boro game, so that just leaves Norwich (I doubt).
I agree with Silkship. Our decline after Kit's early run of excellent form (remember that? Seems like a long time ago) has coincided entirely with LVC's injury problems. Chances are that we've got to do without him for the rest of this season, but if he can get fit and get a full pre-season under his belt, next season could be very different. Not that any of that means we should overlook the limitations that the last few months have exposed in Kit.
