We bid 4 million for him earlier in the summer - he has just been sold to Newcastle in a double deal including their keeper Karl Darlow for 7 million. Loaned back for the season though. Although, this was done without Stuart Pearce's approval! Upheaval there just before the start of the season.
Pearce very unhappy, do not blame him. I cannot see the point of it....what if Newcastle go down, Forest up . What happens if Pardew is sacked and the new manager don't fancy them If Forest do go up, they will lose two of their best players....really odd.
Exactly what I was thinking. And to be honest, it makes no sense that they turned our 4 million bid down and accepted this one (its 7 million but a 2 players have been sold). Really strange transfer.
