    Definitely, there was an incident after the final whistle where a young lad about 8 or 9 years old ran on the pitch, so a steward got heavy handed with the kid and Lascelles ran straight over and defused the situation. Sort of person you want captaining your club. Also Rafa certainly seems to have a lot of faith in him.

    As good as Colback is for a free signing. I think a defender is often a good captain.

    the steward went way over the top literally - fell flat on his arse <laugh>
    as a steward he's not allowed to man handle anyone despite the kid running on the pitch
    lifting him off the ground like a wrestler was also over aggressive for the steward
