Larry has stuck around as the only poster on the AV board all seasons keeping us up to date on their sad decline.

Larry will shortly be leaving us to the Championship board, lets hope it's a swift return.

I thought I has been given an Award, 'The Order of the Boot', when I saw this thread !

Just one more EPL game for Aston Villa, then it is Level 2 for how long ... for as long as Lerner remains at AVFC, that is for sure, with the dire possibility of further sinkings.

In all honesty I dislike Villa after the malicious and unexpected bile the fans threw our way last time we were relegated

However, Larry you would get my nomination for best poster on not606. To hold fort, entirely by yourself in a season where your team gave you nothing to cheer and some opposing posters saw fit to try and kick you when you're down.

I doff my hat to you and hope to see you again next year when we're all in a championship party :)

Thanks folks, I appreciate your comments.

I get no joy from seeing another club relegated and have no time for those who gloat at the misfortunes of others.
My attitude is that I do not want to see my team relegated and if preventing this means another team goes down instead, then so be it. I further reckon that every football fan would feel the same way with their team.

Lets hope next season we can talk about our teams actually winning - feel free to come over to the Newcastle board though i apologise in advance for the minority who will be wary of a Villa fan! So long as you're not carrying a banner you should be fine.

Alright Larry, not going to lie, I was delighted Villa finally got flushed down the pan.

However, fair play to you for your loyal support of them and your one man board updates on here.

They'll no doubt bounce back soon enough in all honesty....

:emoticon-0100-smile:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:emoticon-0136-giggl:angel::angel::angel:Much better than the Villa fan call Cridge who posted on a Sunderland web site last summer asking if we had any decent players they could buy to help their push for Europe, coming to the conclusion that not a single Sunderland player was good enough for the bench at the mighty Villa.

Strangely he went very quite from October, in fact we never saw him again. Any help in finding him would be much appreciated as we would like to continue the conversation.
