He is slow and is Sunday League standard in comparison to the Premier League.

Or maybe he is adjuting to the league! Think back to players like Dennis Bergkamp, Henry etc all took time to settle and look what happened when they were given the time and support (something a lot of our fans don't seem to understand)

He needs to sharpen up for sure. I think he'll score goals long term but you've got to wonder if he's got the focus to improve. I think a manager like Robson or Keegan would be getting the best out of him.

<laugh> you cannot compare Bergkamp or Henry to Mitrovic... Do you seriously envisage Mitrovic spinning a defender and collecting a pass with supreme technique before aiming a precise shot into the corner?! <laugh>

He is a ****ing donkey. The net is the same size as he's used to, it's not like we're taking him from a five a side team. If you watched in pre-season, when he had more time and space, he still put simple headers over the bar, hit the bar from three yards out, and missed sitters left and right. He's ****ing ****.

Not in terms of player but them getting used to the PL and in Mitrovic's case a much higher standard of football!

I think we all know good players when we see them, and potential too. I think the fact nobody is going to admit to seeing any potential in Mitrovic will say it all.

He has the right number of chromosomes, but that's all he has in common with a talented footballer.

Well Mbabu didn't play that well yesterday - might as well scrap him as well. <doh>

I'm all for slating players but we have to give certain ones a chance (younger players new to the league and the youth players coming through)- its players like Sissoko and Colo who neeed to bear the brunt - they are used to the league and we have seen they can do it if they can be bothered!

Would benefit Mitrovic a lot if we had more players who know how to cross the ball!

We were saying, and regularly informed by other fans the same things last season about Luke Shaw. He looked unfit and lazy, he got his act together and this season before his leg break he looked a different player, he was class.

Mittovic to me looks a real handful, confidence and enthusiasm maybe a bit low. He's 21 years old is he not? Similar situation to Memphis atm.

That's why it's important to have experienced good players to help the young lads, your 'No over 27's' model is making good young players lose focus, confidence and most importantly to your daft chubber of an owner, value.

Mbabu played alright in his first game. Mitrovic played well for ten minutes in one game. In all the game time he's had.

Mitrovic has had more than enough chances to be up with the higher scorers in the league, I **** you not. His pitiful return is why nobody rates him!

From what Ive seen to date, he's a plodder not suited to English Foottball. He'd probably struggle in the Championship, never mind the PL.

He's not shown anything at all to suggest otherwise.

He does look like he's a yard slow. And not just physically. He does not look sharp. Takes an extra touch more than needed and is simply a brute. He does not even have a high work rate. I do not think he is that good and that is off the evidence so far. That opinion might change. He is playing in the worst team in the league at the moment. Under a ****e manager.

A bit harsh, Villa are surely the worst team in the league.
