I was just scrolling through the player profiles on the Norwich website and I have discovered that Lappin is now our second longest serving player, along with C Martin, arriving in January 2007.

That is quite an achievement given the career he has had with Norwich as he was dropped from the team for a year and a half.

He did brilliantly in our League 1 season and it was unfortunate for him that Surman signed.

I think his days at Norwich are numbered though as he hasn't played first team football in a while, with Surman and Pilkington ahead of him, and has been injured.

Must credit his professionalism for staying with the club through his and the club's darkest days. He has never moaned about it once, at least publicly, as far as I'm aware.

Not the most skillful player at the club, but you certainly can't fault him for his effort or commitment. He gives 100% every single game, unfortunately I think the premier league may be one step to far for him

I'd say he is still is the best crosser we have in the team, it's not inconceivable he will have a role to play at some point.

Good player, fantastic attitude his very passionate about the club, has to tendency to mouth off at referees but a bit of a hero at Carrow Road. To me his a survivor, throw under the bottom heap left to rot in the reserves under the Roeder regime, I was really happy for him being given a chance by Lambert and playing a big part of the team for the past two seasons.

I think the best game he has had for us is in Lambert's first game for us against Wycombe. He started out on the wing then played in defensive central midfield and continued to play brilliantly. He proved that he who shall not be named (not Voldemort) was wrong.

Pleased that he continued trying to get into the first team and has not had a fot saying he is 'unsettled' like Steve Smith was.
