...according to this, but the last I read he was going to stay put to try and break into the Arsenal team. Is this a U-turn by the player, or just shoddy, misinterpreted journalism (tribalfootball tend not to be the most reliable source) Plus it seems with the type of players currently on P L's radar, Bennett, Johnson, Snodgrass, that he's not banking on getting Lansbury or Pacheco back ? http://www.tribalfootball.com/articles/arsenal-midfielder-lansbury-keen-norwich-return-1680021
With Lansbury, Lambert is interested and has spoken to Arsenal (on the pinkun from yesterday's press conference) but lambert relies on permanent signings first and loans second. If it's becoming increasingly clear to henners that he can't get a shot in the arsenal team and he's 5/6th in line he's going to want to get in the best team he can and why not a team where he's settled and loved. I'd have him back in a heartbeat and he'd be invaluable to a premier league squad. From what I hear he's great to have in the squad just for morale, teaching everyone to dougie and whatnot.
Hells bells! If he comes back it's going to be a hell of a battle for all the midfield to get a regular game, assuming Bennett & Johnson come too. Oh happy days, and would be so much different to the last short lived trip to the PL. Not complaining about all these quality players being linked to or even coming to Norwich but I wish the odd word about a defender or two and a goalie would occasionally be mentioned.
