    Is Lampard having a laugh?Didnt Chelsea spend more on their £70+m mid-season crutch of Torres and Luiz?

    "We are going to be very strong next season and, however much Manchester United spend, we still believe in ourselves."

    Please spare a prayer for the pauper martyrs at CFC.

    Frank should concentrate on his deflections rather than trying to engage in mind games with SAF.

    What did he say wrong? you have spent a lot of money this summer. No mind games there, i think you are reading too much into it.

    To be fair he did also say:

    "They (Utd) have been very active and spent fortunes on good quality players"

    You definitely can't accuse Chelsea of having spent a fortune on a quality player in January... <laugh>

    Really fail to see what Lampard has done wrong here. We have spent a lot of money on players, can't be a crime to say it. He isn't criticising us for it, just saying that despite our spending he still believes Chavsea can challenge. What should he say exactly?
