The Chairboys travel east to Cambridge looking for their first league win away from home since February and there won't be a better chance after the hosts FA Cup replay Thursday evening went the distance. Both teams sit on 19 points and a win for either would thrust them into the playoff mix but the "U's" home record is poor having only won twice in the league this season. Gaz has no new injury worries as far as we know so an attacking line up is expected and let us hope the Beast is at his best. I've got my tickets for this one and will be at the Abbey Stadium for my first away game of the season looking forward so seeing the lads put on a show and pick up 3 points on the road for the first time in over 9 months
A win would certainly get us near the play offs. Colchester are away to Yeovil who are now just one point off the play offs and a massive 4 points above Colchester. This League is beginning to take shape
At least the last two away games we have played we look like we are getting back to some form away from home
That's our first pen since March. Cambridge had a claim for one in the first minute turned down,i've changed my mind on Trevor Kettle.
Cambridge player Josh Coulson taken off on a stretcher after a tackle by Paris, hope it's not as bad as it sounds and he makes a quick recovery.
We seem to be taking a bit of a hammering at present with Blackman playing a blinder to keep us in front - so far
