Now obviously its a dissapointing day with all the events that have occured but one thought that has been ticking in my mind is lamberts list! The list of players he produces to DM and the board to begin negotiating with clubs for. Do you think DM will carry on the pursuit of these players now or if/when lambert leaves and will he conduct transfer negotiations so we dont miss out on players or get left behind in improving our playing staff. Or will he leave it be and let the new manager do what he likes?
Will probably let the new manager decide, but if they're good choices (probably are!) the new manager will probably be keen. If what the BBC are saying about gardening leave is true, let's not forget Lambert may not be able to do anything for a month or two, so we'd be free to chase them alone!
Lambert has broken his contract with NCFC by resigning; he can’t be placed on gardening leave because the contract is not enforceable by normal legal means under FA rules. The only punishment for walking out on a contract is a £75,000 fine as we well know.
