Bloke just asked me if I had a light for his ciggy.
"Sorry mate," I replied, "I'm a Villa fan. I've just thrown away my last few matches."

I'm not sure it's Lambert's fault at all. Its just that their players are rubbish. Benteke only looks good cos he's in a ****e team.

I'm sure you're right Pieking, Lambert was brilliant for us, whatever went wrong when he left us, I really do feel sorry for him now!

Hopefully this is the straw that breaks the Camel's back. I don't give a f*** about Lambert to be honest but if this result goes some way to pushing AV permanantly into the bottom 3, that's all I care about.

    So I have been thinking...
Last year Lambert was hailed as a genius for keeping us up.
    So what ha happened?
One thought I have is that actually we were just better than people thought anyway. I know that is in part to do with Lambert for finding good players.

Maybe Villas squad is just really poor.

I feel sorry for him to the extent that taking that job was a piece of poor judgement.Lambert was as good as Rodgers and he got Liverpool. If Lambert had stayed one more season then I think he would have been in with a shout for a big team.

I don't feel any ill feelings towards Lambo as he did a fantastic job here, with out him coming in the way Gunn started L1 we could easy be in Luton's position now!
He's moved on and so should we.

I feel for the guy, but as a Rangers fan, I hope Villa stick by him - just because something's really not clicking in their dressing room.

I don't think Lamberts a bad manager, in the same way that I don't think Hughes is - both very bad fits for the dressing room they've walled into.
