Great interview, very gorunded and modest individual who is well aware of how far he's come and could go. Interesting to see that he, and presumably the rest of the team, isn't get too far ahead of himself with regards to promotion.
Made one small slip when asked about playing at Anfield, he said,'It'll be great.' Next sentence was talking about 'if' we get there. Lovely bloke and a nice shot of him topless...one for the girls.
my mum thinks he's a handsome chap................. Good interview, comes across as the kind of guy that would go down to the local newsagents and have a normal conversation. None of the big I am that the young lads have ala ravel Morrison and balotelli ( even though I love him).
Came across very well. He must be getting sick of all these interviews where Clem points out how much more he could have achieved if only he could be bothered though!
In all the recent interviews and articles on, and with, Lambert, people have mentioned that there's so much more about Lambert than just being a goalscorer. And, of course, that's true, but nobody, except one person, has mentioned why. They all go on about his quick feet and his fantastic football brain, but they just keep on concentrating on his goals. But last week on LKO, Leroy Rosenior mentioned that he'd first seen a young Rickie Lambert playing for Rochdale, in midfield. There's the answer; there's the explanation for so many good passes, through balls and assists. He knows where players are because part of his learning was playing in the middle.
Only Friday Focus is shown on the BBC website, and that shows what's about to occur the next day. We've since had another edition of Friday Focus, so you won't even see the 20 second trailer. You could try Youtube, as someone may have recorded it. If you see BBC's Mark Clemmit talking to Rickie in the New Forest, you've found it.
