Lambert in for Forest pair

Paul Lambert is ready to launch a double summer swoop on Nottingham Forest for Chris Gunter and Garath McCleary.

Seems to answer some of my questions re summer signings from yesterday. Gunter could replace Naughton/Tierney apparently and McClearly would add more bite to the midfield.

Gunter is not a bad RB/LB but he's no Kyle naughton.

As for Gareth McCleary, I fear he may be another lewis mcgugan player.

Just old news with Gunter and mccleary is being linked purely cos of his scoring exploits recently.

 

Would also like to add that I don't believe that these would improve our side tbh...

 

Would far rather we moved heaven and earth water to make naughton ours.

 

Totally agree with that BC.

 

Naughton is an absolute beast, no doubt about it, but Lambert will have contingencies.

Regardless of whether this is true or bollocks I think it's good were still being linked with plaayers of this ilk. Lambert has stuck to the young talented "lower leaguers" and long may it continue as far as i'm concerned. could see 5 or 6 new faces in the summer.
