Sorry not a real headline but I can imagine it. Has anybody else been shocked at how the papers have really put the boot into the latest Mags situation? Let's face it: its been a giggle but you have to wonder how Kinnear is on the wrong side of a lot of Journos - maybe something to do with the F Word rant he had when he was boss...but that was ages ago. Maybe there is more to it behind the scenes? I've never seen such a negative reaction to a new appointment in football before though - even on sites like the BBC. Does anybody else agree?

I don't think it's just about Kinnear, I remember when they were last relegated one of my colleagues said he looked on a couple of fan sites & was suprised at just how many people did'nt like Newcastle, I think in general that a lot of fans from other clubs can't stand Newcastle United for one reason or another, be it the club, the fans or whatever, I'm not saying that as a Sunderland fan, but as a football fan, does any one else think they same?

Yes absolutely, being brought up in lowestoft i grew up with spurs, arsenal, liverpool, coventry (vomit), ipswich, norwich, west ham fans, who i generally see once a year and keep in touch on the blower, fyassbook etc and they all think the scum are exactly that

Ha ha! Very good mate but you can make it better By saying they've had 13 managers in 6 years

    Bobby (left 2006)
    Carver
    Sounsess
    Roeder
    Pearson
    Big sam
    Pearson
    Keegan
    Hughton
    Kinnear
    Shearer
    Hughton
    Pardew

Less if you count when Pardew Joined.

You should have Ashley as a gamekeeper and have their heads stuffed on plaques with Pardew's ready for him.

    Love your pics fella <ok>

You are bang with that statement . Things have changed for the scum . Lived in various parts of the country and there were a lot of people that had respect for the scum but how things have changed for them . Think its more to do with the fans attitude than anything else , and the people from scumcastle thinking if you aint from scumcastle then you aint worth a **** the ****ing pricks .

Once you went to sign on, he crept out and legged it. You never knew, he was under the bed all the time.

A tad lame lads, all teams love it when other teams have it hard and Jump on the bandwagon and Sunderland are no different.

It's what sells papers when we played top football in the 90s everyone said newcastle were there second club, but it will be the same people digging now.

The press loved it when mon left and you were in the **** a few months ago
