Sweet, got a lotta time for this lad, very talented.

Definitely a great addition if it goes through.

Really not sure, at the price.
If we get him I'll be behind him of course (no smut, please).

I really rate Lallana and he suits our style nicely. The fee is step but I believe he can justify it.

I say Lallana is pretty equal to Sterling and Coutinho, and all three offer some thing slightly different so we will have a great mix.

    Good for Bournemouth!

What will Southampton do with all the cash one has to wonder 60 odd million and will it get invested at all?

i asked that question and no one cared :emoticon-0106-cryin lol, i reckon they will get half of that to spend, maybe £40 mill, on who have no clue, as i asked what type of player does koemen go for normally, but i think the saints fans was just loitering to see insults thrown around, and when none came (well fee may be, but not the player) ****ed off.

Southampton could do a lot worse than scouting a few of Spurs rebels.

the new spurs manager owes them a favour or two lol.

similar type of style, so good shout, as long as koemen isnt going to change too much that is, if he plays differently.

They could look at Chelsea to.

Bertrand could fill a hole at left back. Atsu could be a good signing for them to.

I assume Saints will get rid off Osvaldo.

Benteke and Dirk Kuyt could be stars for them.

Im a Saints Fan and Ive watched Llallana since he was a kid and I think you will be surprised how good he is, he is the type of player that might take a little time to adjust but your system last season was based on good passing football so he will fit in well, if he hits the ground running the transfer fee will seem a bargain to you all in no time.
I'm sorry to see him go but I can't blame him for moving to better wages and champions league football.
For Saints to progress we need a bit bigger squad so I am hoping with the transfer kitty we now have we will replace and strengthen in a few areas.
Anyway thats football, players come and players go.
You have a interesting season ahead of you with the extra workload the champions league will bring

It's not an extra workload. It's more exciting games.

But other than that, agree with your post. Think he will be a good signing and he was one of the best midfielders in the league last year. Comfortable on the ball, decent movement, bit of skill and technically very good. If he cost £15m everyone would be raving about him on here, it's just the price making people think a bit iffy. As you say, if he hits the ground running, scores a couple of goals and links up well with Sturridge/Coutinho/Sterling then I'm sure we'll all forget the price tag and be raving about him again.

You'll need a second player for the other 25 minutes. Pretty rare for him to manage a full game.

Neither does Coutinho. They can just swap.

We've only got him as a squad player anyway... he's obviously not going to displace Allen in the midfield is he <doh>

He's a good player and strengthens our squad, we just need some defenders and Sanchez of course.

  20. He (and Hendo) was one of the top runners last season. Stats say he was in the top five for ground covered.

PS...and Im not one for paying attention to stats.
