Hi there everyone. Thought this might interest some. I find surnames quite interesting, and for a while I thought Lallana sounds like it has latin origins, so I had a look. See this link below.

Seems to me the name has spanish origins, which would explain why there are a quite a few in the Phillipines, as they invaded there as part of their conquests back in those brutal days. Also, along with other europeans (notably the Italians) of course the spanish clearly emigrated to Argentina hence spanish speaking.

No wonder he's as good as Messi <cheers>

Well after a quick google search it appears that Rickie's surname has German origins and they aren't half bad at footy either...I like the look of Lambertini as a surname, reminds me of something classy and powerful, the car i mean, NOT the wine!...<laugh>

Found it randomly through Google, just put in Lallana surname and it was about the 2nd or 3rd down. Didn't try my own name. Have you tried through the link?

Yeah and I can't get get to the root of the page where you can input the surname.

EDIT: Just did it your way and got somewhere. Of my last name, I found 45% in the USA, 27% in Italy, 8% in South America, and 1% in almost every other major country in Europe, including 1% for the UK. Amazingly 1% in Bangladesh..! I may be half Italian but I'm British all day long. I speak more French than Italian, and that's school level stuff.
