Rasmus Elm is a good player, I wouldn't call him a nobody, it seems that he is an intelligent individual as well.
Hmm the touristy/well developed areas sure. Haven't been there, but from what I've seen/read/heard... you wouldn't want to be poor in the winter.
In Moscow, you wouldn't want to be poor in the winter, in Liverpool, you wouldn't want to be poor in all seasons.
A footballer who chooses to not go to a big club because the city isn't to his liking, and chooses elsewhere based on the city rather than the actual club itself, is not a footballer worthy to have in the first place. You want a footballer who's at the club to PLAY FOOTBALL, is committed to the club, rather than picking a team for sightseeing and tourism. This guy is basically joining CSKA because the city is nicer, if I was their coach i'd tell him are you here for us or the city? If it's the latter you can f--k off, if you're here, it's because you want to be at this club, to play for this club, not because you like this city more than Liverpool. You'd seriously have to be a f--king idiot to pass off Liverpool for CSKA, yeah I like to take the piss out of Liverpool, but if I was a footballer, and Liverpool wanted me, I'd bite their hand off. Not to mention you're also passing off playing in the best league in the world, with the best stadiums and fans, for the f--king Russian league which severely lacks in both of those categories. As a footballer, it's his loss, but sadly football these days isn't all about the football for many players, rather it's about the money, the fame, the glamour, the cars, the women, and all of that sh!t. That's why you gotta respect a player like Messi, he's the best player in the world making a lot of money, has every right to be an arrogant prima dona, yet you never see that sh!t from him, it's all about the football for him. Heck, in England Rooney is meant to be that type of player, who'd play football on the street if he saw people playing footie as we're often told, LOL, yeah, right, what a crock of ****. The same Rooney who loves football so much he held his own club Manunited with the respected Ferguson to ransom in order to get his fat 250k a week wage. PS Messi can be annoying at times on the pitch, he's not perfect, but that's on the pitch, you don't find any tabloid nonsense from him, or him trying to force new contracts for more money etc.
