his confidence is ****ed, sometimes he looks hesitant about striking the ball and when he does have an attempt and nothing comes of it he looks like his cat just died.

he'll be dropped when Boydinho is back,
if you think aout some of the duds Watty has paid good money for it gets a bit scary!!
    Lafferty, Whittaker, McCulloch, Mendes, Naismith.....
all these players where £2m+, they have still to justify their price tags to me!!
    apart fae Mendes obviously

He frustrates the **** out of me. Hits it past a player and then just kind of does nothing. Lets the defender take the ball and walk away with it.

If Davis was to get injured then we would be utter ****ed. Showed again last night that he is miles better than any other player in Scotland. Sheer class <ok>

  7. Whittaker, McCulloch, Mendes, Naismith are awrite, mcculoch does a job in midfield, whittaker can beat players and score goals, mendes was good, we've sold him anyway and naismith just never gets a game so **** knows if he's good or not.

Nev, i think thats the point, they are 'awrite' players, on what i have seen so far I wouldn't have paid the money we did for them.
I mite be proved wrong, I like Naismith and hope he gets a run in the team. Mendes lived off the back of one great goal for a year
and McCulloch and Whittaker should have cost £500k each max.!!!

i think at the time they came to rangers they'd have gotten offers of around 2m from championship clups easy enough. its just that we're rooked so we expect anyone we spend any kind of money on will be amazing.

look at the money caldwell just generated and he didnt have long on a contract and was one of the back four that has been dropping points all over the place for celtic since the middle of last year

Did you see Lafferty when Novo went round the keeper?! The ****in plum ran about 5 yards offside and screamed for a pass <laugh>

Stevie Davis is the best attacking midfielder we've had since De Boer, we'll be absolutely ****ed if he gets injured.

Whittakers been playing alright hasn't he?

Scored a few goals & always looks a threat going forward, despite looking somewhat uncomfortable on the ball.

Mendes was good, wasn't as great as people made out but did a good job for the time he was here & was probably sold on at the right time.

McCulloch is ****e but he's filled in at the back, outwide, upfront, defensive midfield, attacking midfield......so has probably saved you a small fortune in being so versatile & willing to do a job where ever he's asked.

Naismith is decent. I was glad Celtic didn't pay the money he went for mind as he's not a winger, not really an out & out striker - & thats why I think he can;t get a game for you. Smith doesn't know where or how he'd fit in to the team.

Teams gang up on Davis now!! Hamilton did it and St. Johnstone did it at times last night!!
They know everyything good we do goes thro him!!
Time for Thomson and McCulloch to take some responsibilty!!
McCulloch is like a thinner version of Bob Malcolm who scores the odd goal!!
Only shining light at mo is Fleck who seems to be finding form with a run in the team.

Im a fan of Whittaker, not always great defensively but when he gets forward he's pretty skilful and dangerous.

Aye Nev, I think Fleck's been much better this time round, last time he got a run in the team he faded a bit but this time he's lookin sharp, I like when he comes in just behind the strikers and jinks past a couple of players and plays a pass. Went on a great run near the end last night, woul've been some goal if he'd finished it.

nev - he's not out of contract till next summer & sounds like he wants to stay.

Wilson is the one who looks like he wants to leave....or get a massive pay rise.

Thats the problem with countries like Scotland.

Decent players get ahead of themselves & think they can cut it at 17 in the premiership. Spurs would have no intention of playing him for a couple of seasons at least, that would be backward step for the lad who would learn alot more & improve at a greater rate by playing each week at Rangers.
