Lafferty - Hoo(v)er Switch And Niklas Bendtner

Morning all, a nephew of mine who works in Turkey has just rung to say that the news in the morning newspapers there is that Lafferty has been recalled by Norwich and that someone by the sumptious name of Gary Hoover has been loaned out to Caykur in his place. I can only assume they mean Gary Hooper, presumably Lafferty´s two goals recently for N. Ireland helped to persuade Mr. Neil to make the decision. Not sure if it´s any great improvement, but interesting if nothing else.

Also Danish radio are reporting that Niklas Bendtner wants a return to England, and that we are amongst a handful of clubs interested in taking him, I know he has begun to score for Wolfsburg and for the national team, but do we really want that ageing, lumbering warhorse, who is certainly way past his best, if he ever had a best that is.

I've also read that Paul Dyson is coming out of retirement and is available. Lafferty for Hooper would be a bit odd at this stage of the season, having both would make more sense, but we'll see.

Anyway it wasn´t a TOTAL fabrication, I do have a nephew who lives and works abroad, only it´s in Poland.
