Just a quick shout out to the lads. I thought we were going to drop down the table when our boys left for ACON.

How wrong I have been proven to be?

Big shout out to the lads. Big effort by all, Pards has impressed me how he has managed the squad in their absence.

    Overall I am cuffed..

    Bring on Europe!

Well It's quite satisfying that we're now 5th, 3pts from CL spots and now we've got Cisse and Ba back.

    Who knows what can happen.

Just take it 1 game at a time. There will be ups, there will be downs but whatever happens - we will have a good season

Very much this. It's no good getting excited for Europe when we've still got 15 games left to play. I'm viewing it as being almost safe from relegation! :D

I'd play Perchinho and Guthrie in the middle against Villa though. Perch is solid at DM and Guthrie is having a good run of games. Taylor looked lost today, even when out wide. I imagine Ba will start and Cisse will be on the bench and be brought on on the hour

With how toothless our strike force has looked the past couple weeks, I'd be tempted to throw Cisse straight in - it worked for QPR today (I'll admit I was sceptical of that decision)!

I would throw Ba and Cisse straight in.

I know we're trying to lose the deluded tag, but I think still worrying about avoiding relegation at this point in our season is wrong. In my opinion, I think it would take a catastrophic collapse to fall away from the European places, especially with a (hopefully) effective strikeforce.

To be fair, last night's post was more a reaction to going fifth. I would like to remain optimistic, yet Europe is a far way off yet. Still chuffed at how we have gone about our business without our African lads!!!
