This is the thing that really boils my piss through Ashley's tenure. If they were open with the fans and give us reasons behind their actions, then things wouldn't get out of hand. But you can garuntee that we will get some patchy statement that skirts round what we actually want to hear.
Its lunchtime and every buggers on holiday. We'll get a statement later on saying that he's gone for an undisclosed fee (they all are) and the money will be used to strengthen the squad, which will be happening because its summer and we were doing that anyway. Anyone else remember the days pre messageboards and SSN when you actually had to wait until Look North or the Chronicle coming out? I miss that. Edit: That said I do agree with your overall point, lack of communication is my biggest complaint about the Ashley regime, certainly in the last few years.
