Looks like Berg is feeling the pressure and has decided to become Scrooge. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...orms-Christmas-party-Michael-Jackson-wig.html "Furious Blackburn manager Henning Berg stormed out of the clubâs Christmas party after he was made to wear a stocking on his head and dance on stage. The humiliating incident on Monday night is bound to cast more doubt over Bergâs future at Ewood Park just seven weeks after he returned as manager. Blackburn have recorded only one win from nine games under Berg, leading to speculation he could be sacked by Indian owners Venkyâs if results do not improve dramatically. It was hoped the party for the players and more than 200 staff in a suite at Ewood would lift morale but it backfired spectacularly. When the DJ decided to play some games, one of the clubâs executives volunteered Berg to go up on stage. The 43-year-old Norwegian reluctantly wore the Christmas stocking but grew visibly angry and uncomfortable when he was made to dance as well. The final straw came when someone attempted to put a Michael Jackson wig on his head. Berg ripped off the stocking and left the stage. He then made his excuses to guests at his table before making an early exit. Berg, who won the Premier League and League Cup in two spells at Blackburn, is understood to have become increasingly disillusioned with the job he has taken on. On the day he was appointed, it was revealed the ex-Manchester United defender would be sacked if he failed to win promotion back to the Premier League this season."
If he was forced into something he didn't want to do, then fair enough, he's the manager. PS. He'll be sacked by easter.
Just remind me, werent they something like 2nd when Kean was sacked? I cant be bothered to trawl their fans forums but I wonder if opinions have changed?
They were second, they're still arguing about the merits(or lack of) with the Berg appointment and they still seem to be boycotting games, despite Kean being sacked.
Yeah well Id have sacked him too, purely cos he's one of the most odious and repugnant people Ive ever met. When someone walks into a room and refers to themself in the third person saying "Big Sam is here" you know he's a twat.
Now this is so funny. Talk about the Xmas Spirit being lost on him Maybe the reason that Blackburn continue to struggle. Dont see them improving either anytime soon. How about a cheeky bid for Jordan Rhodes in January as Blackburn will be in serious trouble financially IF they fail to return to the PL this season.
So you would sack someone who is a quality manager and built a very good squad and then you back someone who got a side who was battling for Europe relagated. How idiotic do you have to be? You can hate Big Sam as much as you want but he is a very good manager, a manager Kean would be lucky to be half as good as.
I was being flippant. I am never going to be the chairman / owner of a football club but if I was, just like in real business, I think I could put aside personal differences for the good of the organisation..
... bit of history there .. Berg previously had a bit of a run-in with Titanic ... (I'll get my coat)
I read the article and it looks like a non-story blown out of all proportion, not interested in Berg or Blackburn but nice to see he feels he should be acting like the manager and not some pissed up youth team player
