May actually finally watch this film this morning. Never seen it and never wanted to, to be honest. However during this blasted enforced meltdown I'll start watching and see. Apparently it's become something of a cult classic, so they say anyway. Has anyone on here actually seen it? I'm led to believe that Ravey Davey Bowie plays a rock singing alien from outer space, a nice departure from his usual typecasting.
I've not seen it either. Would like to watch something funny, any recommendations, films or recent telly?
You won't be disappointed, ER - it's a great film. Bowie is majestic as Jareth the Goblin King. And what more can be said about the genius of the puppetmaster himself, Jim Henson? Also check out The Goonies and The Breakfast Club. Both cult classics from the 80s
Oh please! David Bowie was an actor on his granny's side. He did make a good fist of it in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence though. Labyryrinth is a decent film that hasn't aged well. Pan's labyrinth, now that's what you call a great film. Each to their own though Pondy. Still lurv ya bro.
It starred the ever lovely Jennifer Connelly so I'd say give it a whirl. You also get to see the Thin White Duke's bulge as he wears rather tight leggings. If that is your sort of thing. please log in to view this image please log in to view this image
