According to reports in Denmark, Newcastle United have joined the race to sign Michael Krohn-Dehli. The winger

is currently playing for La Liga side Celta Vigo but he will be a free agent in the summer.
Danish newspaper BT have reported today that a number of clubs are monitoring the situation with the Dane and they plan to move in on him to secure a transfer for the summer window. It has been claimed that Newcastle

are prepared to offer Krohn-Dehli the highest salary to join them although it is more likely he will remain in Spain. La Liga side Villarreal are currently the favourites to land the player but Sevilla are also showing an interest in him.
Villarreal and Sevilla are soon expected to table improved offers and Krohn-Dehli himself would prefer to stay in the country, where he has lived for the past two years. Despite the winger’s contract expiring in June, Celta Vigo

haven’t given up trying to persuade the player to sign an extension to his current deal, and they still plan to have talks with him. However Krohn-Dehli he will soon be able to speak to other clubs about a pre contract agreement and therefore time is running out for the Galicia club.
The other option for the player is to return to Denmark and finish his career in his home country in a similar way to what former Liverpool star Daniel Agger did in the summer when he signed for Brondby. The likelihood is that the player will remain in La Liga but if Newcastle can continue to offer

We're still being linked with that 18 yr old Birmingham winger Demarai Gray. Seems more our stamp. Bournemouth have had a 3.5m bid knocked back. Getting close to our 5m ceiling you'd imagine. Him, Darlow and Lascelles next season. Mind this ****ing Lascelles can't get a game in the championship and Darlow has been benched <laugh>

I'm down in Nottingham and was talking to a Forest fan this afternoon, he reckons Lascalles is nowhere near ready. Darlow ia apparently on the bench as they want to see if the keeper that's been playing is good enough, thinking ahead to next season.
