Kweens Park Rainjas vs.Swansea Sitty Venew: Loftus Road Date: Wednesday 11th April 2012 Time: 8pm [This is my last chance to do another match thread before I go on tour with the Swansea State Circus again] Well, the Easter Bunny brought me lots of eggs this year - hope you had plenty too! Tarquin says you spell Kweens Park Rainjas like this but Iâm not sure if heâs pulling my leg. He says that Rainjas are like Ninjas. He says that the KPR players donât come onto the pitch through the tunnel, he says they drop down from the roof of the stand on ropes. Then they decapitate a few spectators before the kick-off. I think thats a bit barbaric like, this is the twenty-first sencharee. Tarquin says he knows lots about Kweens Park Rainjas players: Their favourite garage is Kwik-Fit Their favourite film is Bridge on the River Kwai Their favourite fruit is kumkwats. Donât know how he knows this stuff but there you go. My friends are back from Majorca now so here's wot we torked about (me, Darren, Andy, Tarquin and Molly) at the Stag and Dalek last night: The Manager The KPR manager is Neil Warnock. Nickname is Colin but no-one knew why. Ground KPR play at Loftus Road which is somewhere in London, maybe Croydon. They have the lowest average attendance figure in the Premier League. Meat the team Kenny (GK) - Had a horrible hit in the 70s with âThe Bumpâ. Hill (DEF) - Getting on a bit -over the hill. Taiwo (DEF) - no-one heard of him. Ferdinand (DEF) - Toss up who is best, Rio or Anton. Onuoha (DEF) - Comes from Hawaii. Part of Steve McGaretts Five-O team before taking up football. Barton (MID) - Horrible little oik. Tar-a-bat (MID) - Evil man who coats pipistrelles with asphalt. Derry (MID) - Only player left from last seasonâs Championship winning side. Diakite (MID) - His strings can get a bit tangled up in a strong wind. Bothroyd (STR) - Ex-Cardiff striker. Booooo. Zamora (STR)- Zamora you shoot, zamora you score. Our Predictions KQR 2 Swansea 1 Ildiwch Mr-G.
this would be a comfortable win for us if we get back to the way we know we can play but if we continue the way we have been with keeping the ball in our own half and 900 passes then we will lose.....after all qpr wont have far to score a goal as we are helping them by keeping the ball close to our goal anyway... we cant be more helpful than that
Looking forward to this game...think we can get a bit of revenge for boxing day. Im going to go for a 3-0 win for us
Blackburn 2 Liverpool 3. We're closing in on mathematical safety. If we beat Blackburn on Saturday then they can't overtake us, regardless of the QPR result tomorrow night.
Great as normal Mr G. One small point - think that the 'mouth' is now manager of Weeds Untied! Hope you are putting yourself forward for next seasons fixture write up's. If not, perhaps you could do a write up for after the game!!!
Under normal circumstances I would say a home win for QPR. These are not normal circumstanes as QPR are desperate for three points. A high scoring fixture will end: Kweens Parc (Welsh, cos Hughes is Manager) Ranjers 2 Dinas Abertawe 3 Swans scorers: Gwyther Evans, B Williams, H
Cheers Mr Gullible. Tarquin told me the other day that KPR are secretly sponsored by Tesco and their millions, and thats why their kit is in the Tesco Value bloo and white strypes. He also said this poster was stolen from Loftus Street wer they play. Is that tru? please log in to view this image
i dont musty, i want to get back into winning ways and qpr looks a good opportunity for that, 3pts please and put another nail in sparky's coffin....
Sparky will have them bouncing for this one and they will fancy their chances after great wins over Arsenal and Liverpool. They dominated the second half at the Liberty and seem to be a "bogey" team to us, much like Everton. We are not good when teams press us and QPR do have some quality to take advantage of it. We certainly have the ability to win this IF we turn up but I'm not confident. I suspect a loss, will be very happy with a draw and a win would be fantastic.
Sorry but i can't see the Swans getting anythng out of this game,Our record at qpr is pretty poor to be honest but the following three games we should pick up the points that will keep us mid table.
i dont believe all this rubbish of bogey teams, you are either good enough or you are not and the table shows we should be beating sides like qpr....they are the ones under pressure not us so we should use that advantage....
Yes, Dai, we SHOULD have beaten Everton (feeling before the game), we didn't. We should have beaten Newcastle, we didn't, and plenty of other could haves, should haves, would haves. You are right in that we they are under pressure and we SHOULD take advantage. But will we.....?
Personally, unlike Dai I'd rather have one point than none. 40 points being the magical figure and all that. Hopeful of a draw here and a victory Saturday.
of course i would take a point but 3 would be better, if we come out with all guns blazing and use our superior passing game and get into their own half then i think they will crumble and make a few mistakes. we must do to them what norwich done to us and put us under pressure from the first minute to the last, we have nothing to lose going forward but qpr has a lot to lose......we can win this game and should win this game.....
